Happy New Parents

Our thanks to Marijo for our wonderful little friend Trapper. He's been nothing but fun ever since we brought him home three weeks ago. His personality is a perfect fit for us. He's enthusiastic, outgoing, and learns easily. But his favorite thing to do is curl up on one of our laps. He's going to be a wonderful travel, hiking and camping companion.

I had researched CKCS on the internet, and had contacted other breeders. None were as friendly and helpful as Marijo. We were able to visit after the puppies were a month old, and were impressed with both the cleanliness of her kennel and the obvious affection with which she treated the dogs and puppies. She kept us updated weekly on the puppies' progress, and has kept in touch since we brought Trapper home. We were lucky to find her.

Hi Marijo,     divaandchristine.jpg

We are in LOVE!!! She is so beautiful and a lot of fun. We are so attached already. Everyone wants her. We are already talking about getting another to keep her company because we have not left alone yet. Mick is so funny with her, the kids think he's lost it because he babies her ( I just think they are jealous!)
Her grandparents love her too and offered to babysit anytime. She is going to puppy kindergarden next week for ten weeks. She is settling in just fine & becoming more active each day. She has quite the personality. Thank you for everything, she is a luvbug!!!

Hi Marijo

"Diva" is more cute every day! We love her so much! She had her first visit with our vet today and she won over everyone's heart. I even had a lady follow me out to my car because she thought she was so beautiful. She is doing great. She is 8lbs 4oz. The Vet said she's perfect!

Hi Marijo

Maximus is very quiet and very playful. We purchased almost every toy in Petsmart for him a few days after we picked him up from the airport. We introduce a new toy for him every other week and take one away. That way, he keeps himself entertained with new things. He always wants to sit or lay next to someone. When my wife and I are watching TV, he jumps on the couch and lays near us. He digs his head between the sofa cushions and sits there for hours. He sleeps on our bed (which is something we probably shouldn't have done) but he loves it and so do we. He snores very loudly. Other than that, we heard him bark for the first time last night, and a few times today. He loves playing with my niece/god daughter, who is 16 months. He is very gentle with her and seems very careful not to bite. He also enjoys playing with my brothers older dog, who is 5 times his size. Maximus also loves water. We give him a bath every 2 weeks and use all vet recommended items. He just sits in the tub and openly accepts the water to run down his face and back. It's very cute. He runs across our pool cover a few times and doesn't mind getting wet. I cant wait for the summer when we open the pool... maybe he'll join us for a swim (if vet deems that it wont cause any issues).

Also, if anyone ever asks for a reference, we will be more than happy to provide one. We love Maximus very much. THANK YOU!

Mari Jo,

Ryker is doing well, he is a feisty little thing. The really cool thing is that when I say its time to settle down, and say "No!" he really does listen.

At first, he was really scared of me, However he really liked my wife. I finally figured it out, he did not like the deep voice that I have, and liked the higher pitch of my wife's voice. Now, he is just fine with everyone.
You are right, he is pretty smart. He uses the doggy doors just like they are not there. Its kimda funny, we let him out quite often to go outside and do his business/ If he does not have to go, he immediately heads around the yard and comes right back in the house.
Dodger is finally accepting him and learning to play with him. For a while, Dodger did not know "how" to play with a puppy. They play all the times now.
The pooing thing has pretty much taken care of itself. I think with the change of food and then also with a change of house kind of threw Ryker for a loop.
I have attached another picture with Ryker sitting on the back edge of our couch. He really likes to jump up there and sleep during the day.

Thanks again for everything!!
