Marijo,

I want to thank you for giving us such a wonderful puppy. We love her so much! Lucy has adjusted very well to our home and our two cats. Lucy is our first dog and I was pretty nervous about what to do at first, but I knew a cavalier would be perfect and she so is!!! I had to call you many times with questions and you were always more than happy to help me out. After a couple weeks we had a pretty good routine down and now we are doing great! It was much easier to house break her than I thought it would be, you gave me tips that made a big difference. She loves to play outside and run and run and Lucygroup.jpg
she even made a friend, Marty the cairn terrier (in the picture with her). Every time we are out with her people say how adorable she is and that they may want one. I quickly offer up your name, website and a business card. We look forward to seeing you and all your cavaliers again!

Thanks again!

Dear Marijo,

Thank you so much for our wonderful puppy, Max.  I can’t tell you enough what a wonderful experience my family and I had getting our new family member from Bitterroot Cavaliers.  You made us feel like such a part of his early puppyhood with the weekly updates, photos and videos of him and his brothers and sisters.  When we went to visit Max at six weeks old, you were so sweet to welcome me and my children into your home.  It was so reassuring to see how loved your dogs are and how well cared for and socialized the puppies were.  I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to crate train the puppies before sending them home.  Max happily went into his crate and did not make a peep, even the very first night we had him.  He still loves his blanket and toy you sent home with him, and the binder you gave us was so helpful, and I still use it to keep all of his records in.  My vet said she wished all breeders were as good as you because it would make her job much easier.  Max was a happy, healthy puppy who is growing into a max3.jpg
very handsome,  happy healthy adult dog.  I would highly recommend Bitterroot
Cavaliers to anyone looking for an exceptional breeder of exceptional dogs.
Thank you so much!

Hi Marijo,

We are so thrilled with Gizmo.  He has had all his shots, been neutered, and is bonding quite well with the whole family.  It would seem Gizmo is bonding more with Jackie at this point but he is so healthy, full of life and even has a bit of deviousness about him (which we find to be quite cute).  I wanted to thank you so much for being  such a wonderful person to work with.

We have talked or met with several Cavalier Breeders and Marijo, you are at the top of the class.  We appreciate the way you took the time to share your knowledge and give us guidance with our little guy.  You can always tell a lot about the kid by the parents.  Meeting Bailey and Montana was great.  We absolutely were taken with Bailey and how you GizmotheGreat.jpg
have cared for her and what a great mother she is with her puppies. You are very fun to visit with and
are very approachable.
We also appreciate the Vet you use because they are more concerned about the dog and not just making money.  We look forward to a long time with our Gizmo and we will look forward to another Cavalier from you down the line.

We'll keep in touch, in fact Paul will be attending Missoula next fall, but any trip we make that way we will plan to include saying hi to you.

Take Care,

Thank you so much for giving us such a sweet puppy.  I can't thank you enough for all the
training you did before we got her.  I was fully prepared to be up with Sadie a lot the first 141_4148.JPG
night but she did not cry all night long and she was dry in the morning!

I was very impressed with all the time and information you have given us.  A new puppy
can be a little daunting but your instruction and encouragement has been wonderful.  I
would heartily recommend you to any one looking for a Cavalier!

Sadie is such a happy little dog that we are falling in love with her more and more
every day. I am so looking forward to warmer weather when we can take her camping
and on walks behind the house.  If anyone would like to talk with me about your dogs,
I would be more than happy to give them a glowing report about you.

Hello Marijo,
Jackson was so happy to see me when I picked him up at the airport and was full of energy.
We played with him and he seemed to adjust well to his new home. He slept the entire night.
He has been doing very well going outside, I would give him a A+ in that department.  LewisandMIkesPictures.jpg
His appetite has been great and he is eating and drinking well too.

He is just a bundle of joy and what a lover (just like you said).
We just love him so much.....

Our thanks to Marijo for our wonderful little friend Trapper. He's been nothing but fun ever since we brought him home three weeks ago. His personality is a perfect fit for us. He's enthusiastic, outgoing, and learns easily. But his favorite thing to do is curl up on one of our laps. He's going to be a wonderful travel, hiking and camping companion.

I had researched CKCS on the internet, and had contacted other breeders. None were as friendly and helpful as Marijo. We were able to visit after the puppies were a month old, and were impressed with both the cleanliness of her kennel and the obvious affection with which she treated the dogs and puppies. She kept us updated weekly on the puppies' progress, and has kept in touch since we brought Trapper home. We were lucky to find her.

Hi Marijo,     divaandchristine.jpg

We are in LOVE!!! She is so beautiful and a lot of fun. We are so attached already. Everyone wants her. We are already talking about getting another to keep her company because we have not left alone yet. Mick is so funny with her, the kids think he's lost it because he babies her ( I just think they are jealous!)
Her grandparents love her too and offered to babysit anytime. She is going to puppy kindergarden next week for ten weeks. She is settling in just fine & becoming more active each day. She has quite the personality. Thank you for everything, she is a luvbug!!!

Hi Marijo

"Diva" is more cute every day! We love her so much! She had her first visit with our vet today and she won over everyone's heart. I even had a lady follow me out to my car because she thought she was so beautiful. She is doing great. She is 8lbs 4oz. The Vet said she's perfect!

Dear Marijo:

Thank you so much for brining "Dash" or more affectionately known as Willy-T into our lives.  From the first evening he arrived, after the long plane ride, he has been so well behaved.  His excellent training, socialization, and personality  were more than we could have anticipated.  He is calm, well behaved, and housetrained.    He captures the heart of everyone he meets. I just love him!  We are looking for to our next Cavalier from you.

Sincerely,

Marijo,

Now puppy #6 is Philip de Stefano. He is terrific, doing very good. Philip is a very happy puppy in 021.JPG
good health.
We had a second set of shots and going for the third one at the end of February. Philip goes to work with me often.  Everyone loves him, he behaves better in my office than at home though. LOL I guess he knows he is at work. Philip loves all the people he meets and they love him.
He has a habit of sucking and licking an ear as soon as someone picks him up, I guess he wants to
make sure that people have clean ears as they hold a Royalty in hands. It is very funny. He has a
good appetite.  I am sending you a few pictures of Philip de Stefano.
Just want to tell anybody who is thinking of getting a Cavalier, Marijo is your breeder. My puppy is well socialized from day one, came with a package of everything a puppy needs. Marijo took great care of my puppy while he was in her home. I can tell that these puppies are raised at home, you can see that by their appearance, behavior. I was asked  by many people who the breeder was and I proudly say  that my puppy came all the way from Montana from a great breeder. You know  how some people are, they do not trust the internet and many people were talking me against the purchase a puppy over the web. Here you go! I’ve got a beautiful doggy and a friend – Marijo. Thanks a lot and please, keep in touch.

Hi Marijo

Maximus is very quiet and very playful. We purchased almost every toy in Petsmart for him a few days after we picked him up from the airport. We introduce a new toy for him every other week and take one away. That way, he keeps himself entertained with new things. He always wants to sit or lay next to someone. When my wife and I are watching TV, he jumps on the couch and lays near us. He digs his head between the sofa cushions and sits there for hours. He sleeps on our bed (which is something we probably shouldn't have done) but he loves it and so do we. He snores very loudly. Other than that, we heard him bark for the first time last night, and a few times today. He loves playing with my niece/god daughter, who is 16 months. He is very gentle with her and seems very careful not to bite. He also enjoys playing with my brothers older dog, who is 5 times his size. Maximus also loves water. We give him a bath every 2 weeks and use all vet recommended items. He just sits in the tub and openly accepts the water to run down his face and back. It's very cute. He runs across our pool cover a few times and doesn't mind getting wet. I cant wait for the summer when we open the pool... maybe he'll join us for a swim (if vet deems that it wont cause any issues).

Also, if anyone ever asks for a reference, we will be more than happy to provide one. We love Maximus very much. THANK YOU!

Best,

Mari Jo,

Ryker is doing well, he is a feisty little thing. The really cool thing is that when I say its time to settle down, and say "No!" he really does listen.

At first, he was really scared of me, However he really liked my wife. I finally figured it out, he did not like the deep voice that I have, and liked the higher pitch of my wife's voice. Now, he is just fine with everyone.
You are right, he is pretty smart. He uses the doggy doors just like they are not there. Its kimda funny, we let him out quite often to go outside and do his business/ If he does not have to go, he immediately heads around the yard and comes right back in the house.
Dodger is finally accepting him and learning to play with him. For a while, Dodger did not know "how" to play with a puppy. They play all the times now.
The pooing thing has pretty much taken care of itself. I think with the change of food and then also with a change of house kind of threw Ryker for a loop.
I have attached another picture with Ryker sitting on the back edge of our couch. He really likes to jump up there and sleep during the day.

Thanks again for everything!!

Dear Marijo,
Here are some pictures of our beautiful Miss CoCo. The love of her life is Little Louie who is sitting next to her in a couple of photos.
Let's see, CoCo has such an amazing personality, she is sooooooo smart, loves to steal shoes, growls if you wake her up when she is sleeping (I growl back), she LOVES the outdoors and spends hours smelling the flowers, I am serious!!!! I caught her smelling an arrangement of silk flowers I have in our living room, cutest thing I've ever seen. She is a horribly picky eater so that is always a challenge, she never really barks, she loves to kiss and kiss and kiss. She is so beautiful (and she knows it) so she is always getting compliments. And above all she is 100% loyal to her family and to Louie a REAL princess our Miss CoCo is.

Have a great day!
Enjoy, Adorey
